Equinox is out of a Rotokawa 982 daughter of Lakotas 97K.  97K is a twelve year old
cow that we purchased from Lakota Ranch in 2003.  She has had a number of well-grown heifer calves.  In addition, she is often found nursing other calves.  One year she raised two orphan calves as well as her own.  She is a moderate framed cow who was just checked pregnant with her ninth calf, sired by Rotokawa 93.  Equinox has the genetics to be a long-lived productive cow and has been checked pregnant to the service of Rotokawa 243.
